Overview Tech Support Specialist – Onsite in Downtown Austin, TX Starting Pay: $20.31/hour (increases to $21.60/hour after 7 months) Location: Fully onsite in downtown Austin, TX Schedule: 40-hour/week contract role with potential for extension or full-time conversion You’ll have two consecutive days off (e.g., Tues/Wed, Wed/Thu, Thurs/Fri) Shift Options (Central Time): About the Role We’re looking for a Tech Support Specialist to provide phone and web-based troubleshooting support for retail locations across the country. Responsibilities Provide phone and web-based troubleshooting support for retail locations across the country. Diagnose and resolve issues independently. Explain technical solutions clearly to customers. Qualifications 1+ years of call center or customer service experience. 1+ years of tech support/troubleshooting experience. Required Skills Open availability (including holidays, nights, and weekends). A passion for technology and learning. Strong communication skills – able to explain technical solutions clearly. Problem-solving mindset – diagnose and resolve issues independently. Thrives in a metric-driven environment. Preferred Skills Experience in a fast-paced environment.
